Solaris HealthCare Coconut Creek is seeking a self-motivated individual who will strive to create and maintain a warm atmosphere and a positive experience for residents, visitors, and staff.

Main Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Answer telephone in a pleasant clear voice
    Screen or transfer calls, taking messages and delivering them for all departments as needed
    Make copies assemble packets
    Send out Care Plan invitation letters
    Label patient files and re-sort discharged patient files
    Fax documents as requested and sort out received faxes as they come by placing in appropriate mail boxes
    Apply postage to work related mail or packages for staff or patient requests
    Computer applications-assist with creating new forms or type requested memos for a any departments head as needed
    Type correspondence as approved by Administrator
    Sell meal tickets to employees and visitors, keeping control and account of all monies
    Handle appointments for Beauty services and Manicurist services to Residents and Families.
    Filing
    Arrange payroll checks with time sheets and sort them for distribution
    Distribute payroll checks
    Process patient statements to be mailed out, including stuffing envelopes and applying postage. Must be completed on the day received
    Understand and follow Company and Center policies and procedures
    Assist departments heads with additional duties assigned from time to time.
    Other duties as assigned
